Where Gemology Meets Education
Jewelry often carries more than monetary value. It can tell the story of a family, mark important milestones, and preserve memories across generations. Yet many people inherit or accumulate jewelry without fully understanding what they own, what it may be worth, or what the best next step might be.
After a long career in education, I founded Enduring Elements Jewelry Appraisals to help clients navigate those questions with clarity and confidence.
Some clients come to me simply wanting to better understand their jewelry. Others need a professional appraisal for Insurance Replacement Value or Fair Market Value (FMV). Whether the goal is identification, organization, documentation, or valuation, my role is to provide careful examination, clear explanations, thoughtful research, and information tailored to the client’s needs.
My passion for gemology grew from a fascination with the history, craftsmanship, and enduring significance of fine jewelry. Through formal study with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), I earned my Graduate Gemologist diploma.
I believe clients deserve more than a list of gemstones and metal content. They deserve to understand what they own, what may have market significance, what may warrant insurance or further appraisal, what should be preserved, and what may hold value primarily because of its personal or family history.
Whether I am reviewing a single heirloom, helping organize an inherited collection, or preparing an Insurance Replacement or Fair Market Value appraisal, my goal is the same: to provide professional guidance that is approachable, educational, and carefully matched to the purpose of the assignment.
At Enduring Elements Jewelry Appraisals, every conversation begins with a simple question:
“What do you hope to learn about your jewelry?”
Together, we can determine the right path forward.
