Jewelry often carries more than monetary value. It can tell the story of a family, mark important milestones, and preserve memories across generations. Yet many people inherit or accumulate jewelry without fully understanding what they own, what it may be worth, or what the best next step might be.

After a long career in education, I founded Enduring Elements Jewelry Appraisals to help clients navigate those questions with clarity and confidence.

My passion for gemology grew from a fascination with the history, craftsmanship, and enduring significance of fine jewelry. Through formal study with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), I earned my Graduate Gemologist diploma.

Today, I combine my background as an educator with professional gemological knowledge to help individuals and families better understand, document, and make informed decisions about their jewelry.

Some clients come to me with an inherited collection and simply need help sorting through unfamiliar pieces. Others want a Personal Jewelry Catalog or a formal appraisal for Insurance Replacement Value, Fair Market Value (FMV), or Marketable Cash Value (MCV).

I believe clients deserve more than a list of gemstones and metal content. They deserve to understand what they own, which pieces may warrant further attention, and what options are available to them.

As an independent jewelry appraiser and consultant, I do not purchase jewelry that I examine or appraise, nor do I sell jewelry on behalf of clients. My role is to provide objective, professional guidance tailored to each client’s needs.
