Services may include metal testing, weighing, gemstone identification, and separating jewelry into general categories, including costume jewelry, pieces primarily valued for their precious-metal content, and pieces that may deserve additional attention.
Clients receive verbal guidance about possible next steps without committing to written documentation or a formal appraisal.

Personal Jewelry Catalog
Preserving a record of the pieces that matter.
For clients who would like a lasting record of selected fine jewelry and personally meaningful pieces, a Personal Jewelry Catalog provides professional examination, photographs, descriptions, and identifying details.
Catalogs may include metal fineness, total weight, gemstone identification, approximate gemstone measurements, and family history provided by the client.
The completed digital catalog can be retained for personal records or shared with heirs, family members, and trusted representatives who may need to assist with the collection in the future.
Clients may begin directly with cataloging or choose selected pieces following an initial sorting consultation.

When a formal opinion of monetary value is needed, I provide professional jewelry appraisals tailored to the intended use of the assignment.
Services Include:
Insurance Replacement Value Appraisals—For jewelry requiring documentation and valuation for insurance coverage.
Fair Market Value (FMV) Appraisals—For estate administration, trusts, inheritance, property distribution, and other appropriate valuation needs.
Marketable Cash Value (MCV) Appraisals—For clients planning to sell inherited, estate, or personal jewelry who need a documented opinion of cash value under defined selling conditions and within an established timeframe.
