JEWELRY APPRAISALS
When you need a documented opinion of value for a specific purpose.
Professional, independent jewelry appraisals for:
Insurance Replacement Value estimates the cost of replacing jewelry with a comparable item in the appropriate retail market. It’s generally used for insurance coverage purposes.
Fair Market Value (FMV) generally represents the price at which property would change hands between informed, willing buyers and sellers, neither under pressure to act. It may be appropriate for estate, trust, inheritance, or property distribution purposes.
Marketable Cash Value (MCV) considers the cash value jewelry may realize in the appropriate secondary market under defined selling conditions and within an established timeframe. It may be helpful when planning to sell jewelry.
The appropriate type of appraisal depends on how the value will be used.
